Meet Mr. Gaetano D’Angiulli (@gaetanomdangiulli), Business Developer for Scarosso based in Milan, Italy.

Gaetano, what does it mean for you to be a Modern Gentleman?

I do believe that the word “Gentleman” has no temporary boundaries. It’s a matter of values, attitude, and way of living. So behaving with kindness, having good manners. It’s a mix of very small and simple gestures that change the atmosphere between people. So for me being a gentleman means being kind, brave, humble and respectful.

When it comes to style, where do you mostly get your inspiration from?

I must admit that since I was a child I was strongly fascinated by the good old times. I was incredibly attracted (and still I am) by personas like James Dean, Steve McQueen, Marlon Brando, Paul Newman, Ralph Lauren, Serge Gainsbourg, Alain Delon… So I must say they still represent my major source of inspiration.

What’s your personal style signifier?

Doubtless vintage Denim jeans. I’m never tired of looking for a good pair of old Levis or Lee from the 70s 80s 90s.

What are your favorite wardrobe essentials?

Very simple – A vintage pair of shaded jeans, a white tee and a OG shirt.

What are your main passions and how do you cultivate them?

I’m an addicted vintage collector. One of the main reasons why I love travelling is to discover local vintage markets and look for old gems and give them a new and contemporary life. So collecting objects with a story behind and give them a new life is my main passion.

Tell us what can never miss in your liquor cabinet.

Campari, Vintage vermouth, Gin, Whiskey, Rum and red wine.
